This policy explains what information AWSM collects through awsm.market, how it is used, and who it is shared with.

Information you give us
When you place an order or contact us, we collect the information needed to complete that request: your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, order contents, and any message you send us. When you email us for support, we keep that correspondence so we can follow up on the issue.
Payment information
Card and payment details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded along with limited details such as the payment method type and the last digits of the card, which we use for order matching, refunds, and fraud review.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested, including IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of the request. This is used to operate the site, diagnose errors, and protect against abuse.
Cookies and local storage
The site stores your shopping bag in your browser's local storage so it survives a page refresh. That data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us as a profile. Our payment processor may set cookies necessary to complete checkout and prevent fraud. Clearing your browser storage clears your bag.
How we use information
We use the information described above to process and ship orders, communicate about orders and preorders, provide customer support, handle returns and claims, prevent fraud, meet tax and accounting obligations, and improve the site. We do not sell personal information.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the store — payment processing, order fulfillment and shipping carriers, email delivery, and site hosting — and only to the extent they need it to perform that function. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Retention
Order records are kept as long as needed to support the order, handle returns, and satisfy tax and recordkeeping obligations. Support correspondence is kept while it remains relevant to your account or a pending issue.
Your choices
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we are not required to retain. Email hello@awsm.market and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.
Children
The site is intended for customers who are able to form a binding contract. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or service providers change. The revision date is shown below. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy. See also our terms of service.
